Security

CamFun Camera is a camera application, and most features run locally.

1. Processing of Photos and Videos

By default, all photos and videos taken by users are stored locally.

2. We do not analyze or collect your facial data

Privacy is very important to our users, and we do not analyze or collect facial data from photos and videos.

3. Account System Explanation

CamFun Camera does not require users to register for a separate account system. Even if you use third-party sign-in (such as Sign in with Apple), your core creative data (photos and videos) remains saved only on your local device or your personally controlled iCloud storage.

Use of App Permissions

The following information shows you the system permissions that the product may apply for and use during the use of the application, and why these permissions are needed. As the application version is upgraded, these permissions may change, and we will update the permission description on this page in a timely manner.

Permissions such as Album, Camera, Microphone, and Location will not be enabled by default. They will only be enabled for specific functions after you authorize them. You can change or withdraw these authorizations at any time.

1. Album Permission

Used to store photos or videos you take, and to edit existing photos or videos in the photo library. If you refuse to grant album permission, all captured photos or videos cannot be saved to the system album, and you cannot edit existing photos or videos in the photo library.

2. Camera Permission

Used to take photos or videos to provide unique filters and shooting effects of CamFun Camera. If you refuse to grant camera permission, you will not be able to take photos or videos.

3. Microphone Permission

Used to record sound when shooting videos. If you refuse to grant microphone permission, your recorded videos will have no sound.

4. Location Permission

Used to save location information to the photos you take. We do not actively request location permission. If you want to record the shooting location in the photo, please enable this permission yourself in the settings interface.

Change or Withdraw Permissions: If you want to change or withdraw these permissions, please find CamFun in the system Settings app to modify them.

Information Collection and Use

1. Third-Party Service SDKs

In order to ensure the realization of application functions and stable operation, we will integrate third-party service SDKs in the application. These services may collect information used to identify you. We will fulfill our duty of care and conduct security testing on third-party SDKs to ensure user information security.

  • Type of information collected: Device information (such as IP address, model, system version), network information, and error logs
  • Purpose: Only used to help us troubleshoot program errors and optimize performance, not for marketing or sharing with third parties

When you send us a feedback email, it will include your email address, phone model, system version number, and error logs (if any). We will only use this information to contact you and improve our services, and we will not share this information with third parties.

Therefore, we strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of these websites. Since CamFun Camera does not use a mandatory account system and only collects limited anonymous log data through third-party services, in many cases, we cannot identify specific individual users in these logs.
